Privacy Policy

1. Our Anti-Surveillance Philosophy

PublicArk is built as an antidote to algorithmic feed capture and behavioral advertising. We believe art should be experienced contemplatively without pervasive ad trackers, data brokers, or third-party behavioral profiling.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect the absolute minimum data required to deliver core functionality:

  • Account Authentication: When you register or sign in via Clerk (email or Google OAuth), we store your unique user ID, display name, and email address to manage your account and curated collections.
  • User Curation: When you favorite an artwork (hearts), create moodboards, or build exhibition books, these relationships are saved in our database to populate your personal collection view.
  • Aggregate Interaction Telemetry: We record anonymous interaction counts (e.g. view impressions and likes) to elevate culturally resonant masterpieces in discovery feeds.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted infrastructure providers to operate:

  • Clerk: Secure user authentication and session management.
  • Cloudflare: Edge CDN routing, DDoS mitigation, and encrypted Cloudflare D1 database storage.

We do NOT sell, rent, or monetize your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Your Data Rights & Deletion

You retain full ownership of your account and curated collections. You may un-favorite artworks, delete boards, or request complete account deletion at any time by contacting our team or through your user profile settings.

5. Contact Us
