Portrait of Napoleon III (1808–1873), Emperor is an internationally celebrated Silk, warp faced weft ribbed plain weave with plain interlacings of secondary binding warps, supplementary patterning wefts and self-patterning ground wefts; woven on loom with Jacquard attachment created by Marc-Laurent Bruyas (19th century).
