Ryerson (died 1932), Chicago, by April 18, 1912 [according to a receipt in the Ryerson Papers, Art Institute Archives]; on intermittent loan to the Art Institute from 1913 [see Art Institute of Chicago 1913]; bequeathed to the Art Institute, 1933.
